Rohan Kanhai the most compelling genius of them all.

I know here, people of our age and older, whether you are West Indian or otherwise, would appreciate the impact he had on the game, his devastating innings, his inventiveness (not seen before), his charisma and volume of first class runs.

Perhaps Krish can repost the piece I did some time ago.

I appreciate in selecting a best team ever, even great players will be overlooked but, just as an observer, none of your fellow Indo West Indians seems to make the cut. In the case of Kanhai, I find that astounding to the point of being unjust.

You have various accolades and functions done of behalf of past Cricketers by the WICB but I am not aware what has been done for RBK.

Perhaps someone can say.

Was a Rohan Kanhai International trophy ever been contested?

Was his 75th year recognised in some way for example?

First, forget the stickiwicket "hall of fame" - that is totally meaningless.

The statement you make about the ICC is incorrect. The ICC hall of fame was launched on 2 January 2009 and quite rightly Rohan Kanhai is there.
