Australia and England will meet in the final of the Carlton Mid One-Day International Tri-Series on Sunday, after England defeated India by three wickets on Friday to secure progression into the series decider.

Australia (possible) 1 David Warner, 2 Aaron Finch, 3 Steven Smith, 4 George Bailey (capt), 5 Mitchell Marsh, 6 Glenn Maxwell, 7 Brad Haddin (wk), 8 James Faulkner, 9 Mitchell Johnson, 10 Mitchell Starc, 11 Josh Hazlewood.

England (possible) 1 Ian Bell, 2 Moeen Ali, 3 James Taylor, 4 Joe Root, 5 Eoin Morgan (capt), 6 Ravi Bopara, 7 Jos Buttler (wk), 8 Chris Woakes, 9 Stuart Broad, 10 James Anderson, 11 Steven Finn.

I would imagine the XI you listed will indeed be England's starting XI. England have played only 12 players during this tri-series tournament. If England are to do anything I the World Cup they will need both Broad and Woakes to set up their game.

After a one month of no cricket, Mr. Mo may be a little bit rusty ........

On the other hand, a well rested Mr. Mo on his home ground could be lethal !!!

Moeen Ali with the big wicket of the inform Steve Smith though Buttler almost made a mess of the stumping. Maxwell and Marsh are leading the fight back, Maxwell looks especially dangerous. Australia 103/4 (25 ovs).

Maxwell is taking the game by the scruff of the neck and threatening to wrestle England's control away from them. Anything over 270 might well be tough to chase down on this wicket.

Edit: And right on cue, Broad gets Maxwell for 95. Great innings, he deserved a century. 201/5 (41 ovs).

Marsh run out. What was Haddin thinking there? That's a huge gift for England. 221/6 (44 ovs).

Faulkner has wrestled the game away from England with a scintillating 50 (aided by some woeful bowling at the end by Woakes). England need 279. I'd like to be proved wrong but I can't see them chasing that down.
