In a Cricket West Indies press release announcing the tour, it has cited the 2020 tour as forging closer ties between them and ECB

Also says the whole tour is worth nearly US$100m to the region – media value of over US$35m in West Indies tourism promotion around the world

West Indies have done practically nothing since the second new ball. Cornwall has not had any bite. Sri Lanka have gone from hoping to scratch together enough runs to challenge West Indies in the fourth innings to now possibly be thinking about how long they want to bat before declaring.

I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
