In a world where knowledge is power, Dean Jones’ lasting legacy would be how ever-willing he was to share his treasure trove of cricketing knowledge with absolutely everyone, regardless of cricketing pedigree or experience
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Dean Jones made himself very ill for the cause of the Baggy Green in the famous tied Test in 1986. A double hundred in serious humidity, he was dehydrated. Australian to the core, he was a hard, talented player.

Another failure for Pooran . If he and Hetmyer are the two best batsmen in the West Indies then our batting is in a terrible state. They are no doubt the most naturally talented pair in the West Indies but they can't keep throwing away their wickets without getting big scores then it will do nothing for them or West Indies cricket
They need to make some big scores and can't blame the pitches which are good for batting.

I travelled to Bourda Green, Guyana : late March 1991 for Test match cricket !
Dean Jones was bowled and walking back towards the Pavillion when Carl Hooper
pick up the Ball and run out Deano, who heard the "No Ball " call too late
Deano was furious ! Of course, I boo the chap exit !
West Indies Won the Game
Thanks for the memories, Deano R.I.P

Cottrell to Kohli, taken at mid-on! RCB falling apart! Looks for the pull and slices it straight up for Bishnoi who sets up
