I was under the impression that Simmons was marching on the order of chief selector and fellow Guyanese Mr. Clive Lloyd, when he fired Shiv from the team.

Whether Lloyd was Guyanan or not, and although I felt Shiv's time had come, Shiv was disrespected and humiliated having served West Indies cricket with great aplomb and dedication.

The issue I take with Lloyd, is not his nationality, is he should know better...

Lemme reiterate : Shiv was in the TEST squad in India.

The ODIs were scheduled before the 2 TESTS.

Lloyd knew Shiv had 4 innings to get 86 runs and the RECORD

and knew he would have had !!

where Lloyd may have erred is agreeing to ODIs before the 2 TEST.


Cause I can assure you payment remuneration would not have mattered

and no WALK OFF THE JOB : could have possibly occoured !!
