This was an absolutely incredible performance. Never in my wildest dreams did I think England would hold the record for most runs scored in an ODI. Gotta give a whole lot of credit to Trevor Bayliss, Eoin Morgan, the selectors and the players for turning this around in such a short period of time. The debacle at the World Cup may well have been the lowest ebb in England's limited over history.
This England batting lineup is stacked with match winners. It says a lot about the quality of the side when Joe Root scores a run a ball 80 (his fifth consecutive 50) and he barely gets a mention. Hales was quite magnificent, Buttler smashed his way to the fastest 50 by and Englishman (after scoring just 1 run off his first 7 balls), and Eoin Morgan had a strike-rate in the 200s.
By contrast, Pakistan have a lot of work to do. They were pretty dire with bat, ball and in the field.

Guess it would be fair to conclude :
Alex Hales and Jos Buttler are bona fide ODI players !
and England selectors will have to find TEST players.
