Ultimately, I guess it comes down to what is more important, individual averages or team wins and losses.

Morgan's average as captain over the last year has been 36. A few comparisons: Smith 41, Dhoni 33, Williamson 33, McCullum 34 and Holder 20. ABdV is of course on a different level at 53.
