Sammy's 30 second call !

Even when removing the results against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, of the 11 Test captains prior to Sammy, only Lara and Walsh won more matches. And only Gayle and Walsh had a higher percentage of non-losing Test matches (wins+draws).

Sammy win 3 ...Shiv win 1..... without a 3 year contract 

Gayle win 3 .....in 4 less Test matches than Sammy

There was noticeable improvements in the team performances under Sammy as compared to the previous 7 captains dating back to Ridley Jacobs.

Versus all Test teams with Sammy as captain, West Indies won 50% more matches, and lost 30% fewer.

Excluding Tests against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, with Sammy as captain, West Indies won 25% more matches and lost 21% fewer matches.

Are we saying 30 seconds were too long a call? lol

Bottom Line : Did we move from # 8 Ranked ???

did we qualify for Champions League in ODIs ??

IF the answer to both is NO : then Sammy is juss anodda waste !

and deserved to be Fired !! :-[

And that is the main number!

Isn't a large reason why West Indies were ranked 8th to begin with down to the woeful performances under the 7 captains prior to Sammy?

Sammy won 4 of the 12 series he captained. Gayle and Jacobs won 1 series each, and Hooper won 2. The rest failed to win a series between them.

I was curious to see how West Indies have performed since Sammy was removed as Test captain.

Post captain Sammy, West Indies have a lower winning percentage and higher losing percentage.

I suppose comparing a loser to former losers is an exercise in Futility !

We should compare Sammy to say Misbah or Kane Williamson:

OR any other Nation's newly appointed Captain ....for the same time period .

It is not deception by numbers BUT were we a progressive squad under Scammer ?

versus 7 former Captains

meaning did we gain points on the Ranking ? TEST and ODI.
