TD. lets assume for second that you are correct.  Why not play the youngster Alzhari?  He seems to be the brightest prospect on the horizon in regards to pace bowling.

Just to clarify, by "no other bowlers on the bench", I meant on the list of names announced by the WICB selectors for the tour. On this list, there are no other decent bowlers.

The selectors could fly any number of regional bowlers to link up with international team, but will they? They rarely do this.

Permaul in spite of being player of the PCL

was NOT offered a Retainer.

Why ????  because Chase had to balance the Entitlement
