The disparity between the West Indies ENTIRE squad and the batting and bowling
numbers from #1 ~ # 7 Test ranking have also grown
so fire all the bowlers ?
fire all the batsmen ?
OR its ALL Ramdin's fault that we Suck at # 9 ODI rank ?
and FAIL to qualify for the Champions trophy ???? :-\

why Dowrich kept in that game?
And why Dowrich has been keeping for Bim during all the FC matches?
Hope has been batting at number 3 for Bim...yes, he has Wicket Keeping ability so you can say he is the "Kanhai" of Bim!

still...Ramdin has scored 4-5 test tons. only Dujon has come close.
Ramdin remains a batsman who can score tons...that's right tons! do we think Dowrich and Hope can do the same ::confused::
both look promising but I would not drop Ramdin just yet. but I expected that Brown wud do something like that. its about Brown/Howard and west indies wicket keepers. they like to replace them in horrific, nasty, unsentimental and unsympathetic ways. its in the nature of the Bajan beast to do stuff like that

I agree with your overarching theme. To drop Ramdin but keep Samuels in the side doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Samuels has been even worse in Test cricket (compared to his peers) over the last 2 years.
West Indies batting troubles in Test match cricket has been well documented in recent years. Their collective team average of 26.99 over the last two years is better than only Zimbabwe. They need to improve the quality of their batting lineup. Of course, that is easier said than done.
For me personally, I think there are three areas where this can potentially be accomplished - give the gloves to a batting wicketkeeper (Shai Hope) as opposed to a more specialised keeper in Ramdin, drop Samuels and find an opening partner for Brathwaite.
