Fact is Bangladesh pole vaulted the West Indian legacy

for the CT.

Pakistan outsmarted the W.I. to get to the CT

withot a Ball being Bowled !

Of course I know it will be used when there is an Agenda driven justification.

To support one player over another !

Last time we played Bangla in ODIs we beat tham by 177 runs.

Minnows are real and suck.

In the 1990s you had teams playing Namibia and Kenya. And Zimbabwe, whilst very good when Flower and company played for it, is now total crap.

All runs aren't the same runs.

WI didn't qualify for the Champion's Trophy because of two men: ABDV and Kohli. India went to Bangladesh without Kohli and South Africa went to Bangladesh without ABDV (or any of its frontline bowlers), and so both SA and India got destroyed. That Bangladesh were playing tons of games vs Zim and Afghanistan whilst we were playing nothing, walked out on games and because Pakistan tactically cancelled games, only sent us down the rankings further.

And of course when West Indies plays India and SA, these teams field their best players whilst our team is embroiled in fiascos which sees our players injured, opting out or banned.

Bangladesh deserves to be in the CT because they had an excellent last 2 years of ODI cricket, whilst we ran around like moronically led headless chickens. But they're still minnows, and a half decent WI ODI team will beat even their best team at home.

Yeah, right ! that W.I was # 8 ranked for the last decade, is testament :

that they are the real MINNOW (small fish) in the 50 over Format !

and a Big Fish (whale, shark, dolphin) in the 20 over Format  :-[

No, Bangla's always been below us. They're slightly ahead of us now due to fluke and due to our suckiness exceeding previous suckiness levels, which up until that point, had been less sucky than Bangladesh's suckiness.

And with Sanga retired and Pakistan sucking, WI can climb up further. The problem is we have no more ODI games this year (the next ODI is Eng's tour of WI next year?). We don't play enough.

If all goes well, I can see us leapfrogging Pak, Bangla, SL and England in ODIs.

I know we lost the WC final to India : in 1983 !
