He's altered his technique slightly, I think. Probably been watching Smith and Kohli on youtube.

I think he's moving his feet left/right much more, especially to the pace men. Before he used to move only backward/forward, causing him to flail or drive too far from his body. Now he's moving to the line of the ball, or moving beyond the line, letting him play on the on side more.
