Reports indicate Pietersen will be out until November. Remember when Rower992 argued on the forum last year that players would suffer less injuries and lengthen their careers playing T20 cricket? Yeah, not so much. The recent injuries to Badree, Pietersen, Yuvraj Singh, Gayle, Fletcher and Simmons all prove otherwise. Regardless of the format, injuries will occur.

Usman Khawaja has been drafted in to replace Faf in the Supergiants squad. I thought he was desperately unlucky not to have been drafted in the first place. He has had a magical last six months or so across all formats of the game.
