I don't believe that the Pakistanis would be striving to beat New Zealand in order to help India. There have been so many negative issues between both countries that I am almost certain that there is no love lost between the two. So don't expect that Pakistan would be coming to Indias aid.

Though, it's already over, but shouldn't Pak winning against the kiwis would have been more of a bane than blessing :P
Any team defeating NZ would be bad for india now, let them win all their matches, they are guaranteed to be no 1 and India can somehow sneak itself to no 2
