In all honesty he really didn't deliver in BBL/05 as I had hoped .... until that last explosive 'Universal Boss' innings.

While I'm not sure if this rant as done him any favours, I can see the points he's trying to make and there has been a lot of two faced people having their say on him.

Yes an extrovert, he says things as it is and doesn't hold back and certain people say that's what cricket needs and I agree. But then they can't in the next breath say his actions have brought the entire game into disrepute so which is it? He can't do both and be good and bad for the game at the same time by doing the same things...

Being disrespectful isn't the way to, Chris Gayle. U are a star, therefore, some heat will come your way at some time in your career, either from haters or from people who may not pleased with certain of your actions. Instead of sending out these distasteful messages, I believe that to counter whatever perceived negatives against you. U should just let you batting do the talking.

Under normal circumstances irks agree and the best way to respond to any negative criticism is ON the field, but this time I do think that Gayle is entitled to defend himself off it aswell.

In my opinion some of the comments made against him recently have been out of order and some might even say they're surprised this is all he's said.
