Is that right that 310 is the highest number of runs chased down on that ground? considering the amount of cricket that's been played there that doesn't seem a lot to me?

Yes, that was the highest successful run chase at the WACA. Only two other teams had scored 300+ in the second innings, New Zealand (335) in 2007 and Zimbabwe (301) in 2001 - both in losing efforts.
There have been 10 instances of teams scoring 300+ in their first innings here.

Just to take this a bit further and show how hard it is for teams to chase down a score of 310, since the first ODI in 1971, there have been 3720 matches, of which, there have been just 34 instances of teams successfully chasing down a score more than 310. In those 3720 matches, teams batting first have scored more than 310 in 304 instances. Scoreboard pressure is a real thing.

Two of the bigger names in the Strikers vs Hurricanes matchup are missing as both Sammy and Jayawardene miss out through injury. A win for the Strikers would put them top of the table. I am hoping for another good performance out of Rashid, who is currently sitting second in the tournament with 12 wickets.

Rashid adds two more wickets to his tally, finishing with figures of 2/16, and is now the leading wicket taker in the BBL this year. Hawkeye shows he should have had a third wicket with his final ball of the night, too.
Rash's dismissal of Wells was a beaut. An unplayable googly that spun a mile. His first over was a bit rough as he couldn't find his length but after that he was superb. The batsman just couldn't pick him. When he is on, he is really tough to play.
I was impressed by young West. He bowled in with a full head of steam and didn't lack for confidence, that's for sure.
