According to that article, the suspension also carries over into domestic cricket and so can no longer play in the BPL, although it looks as though he could play in the CPL with permission from the WICB.

If he can't play in the IPL, BPL or Big Bash competitions then he has serious incentive to remodel his action. Even if he is less effective with a clean action, teams will still line up to give him money for name recognition alone.

Well this is a good example of what greed and lack of patriotism can lead to. Narine was one of those players who would choose to run off to go play the ipl or other t20 leagues than to play for his own country in Trinidad or even the West Indies. His bowling problems started in the ipl.

Surely there must be something more to it than him just having a poor action as for a bowler not being able to bowl a ball within the required regulations is a bit of an embarrassment for everyone concerned.

The fact that a punishment, a ban as been issued, tends to suggest that the authorities think he is delivering the ball like that on purpose, but if that IS the case, what's the long term solution?
