Well Dowrich needs to get mentally tougher and learn how to play as the situation calls for. As a batsman he definitely looks better than Ramdin but  I would like to see his keeping to make a judgement.

Will chief selector Clive Lloyd ask Ramdin to retire after the Jamaica test ?

At a quick glance, it looks as though Ramdin has averaged 20 overs his last 9 innings. Shiv was dropped for averaging 17.55 over his last 9 innings.

There is no Shiv for some West Indies fans in other forums to pi$$ on, so who will get the blame for the WI massacre ? Maybe Ramdin. Surely it won't be Simmons and Lloyd. They kicked Shiv out of the WI team and his replacement scored 15 and 70. So fans are happy with Simmons and Lloyd.

DOWRICH IS PLAYING AS A BATSMAN.  THE IDEA IS THAT HE CAN BAT ALONE AND MAKE THE TEAM.  THAT IS WHAT THE WEST INDIES NEED HIM FOR..BATTING NOT KEEPING.  THERE ARE TONS OF KEEPERS AROUND BUT FEW BATSMEN WHO CAN MAKE 70 IN THE BATTING RIGHT NOW

I don’t know what else anyone can say about Denesh Ramdin as a captain. He is just poor! Unfortunately there is no other way to express it. His tactical errors and especially his bowling changes are mind boggling even for a simple fan like myself.
