Since his debut, he's always been able to play long innings.

His problem is bad coaching, no sideways footwork and the way he limits himself to only a few shots. His chief shot is the off drive which, whilst sexy looking, always gets him out edged. I think he makes a conscious decision to not use 90 percent of the shots he's capable of, as he deems them too high risk.

It's very frustrating, because he obviously takes his batting very seriously.
