Holder wont really make it as a bowler but he can as a batsman.  dat shud be his focus I argued.  let him develop his batting.  mek then all make him feel responsibility as a batsman and he shud become very good for the west indies.

Holder needs to be modelled on Kallis.

Kallis got most of his runs at 4 and 5, but that was when he was mature. In the 1990s, he started at 6, people recognised his skill, and he was promoted  to 3 and 1, but mostly failed there.

Holder needs to bat at 5 and 6 for now, and give him a taste of 1 or 4 every now and then. If you permenently promote him to the top order too soon, he will fail like Kallis did.

What the South Africans also did with Kallis, before he cemented a place at 4, was let him bat at 3 or 6, depending upon which team batted first. If South Africa batted first, Kallis would go up the order. If they bowled first, he went down.

Like Kallis, Holder can also be a workhorse bowler. He doesn't need to take wickets, or increase his speed, he just needs to keep the run rate down.

WI's big problem is Bravo and Samuels. The former has less shots every year, the latter suffers from chronic dumbassery.
