what Mail!! that is a rather slim and skimpy, yet contradictory response there....as if you trying to placate :

:

:

who...ketchim ::confused::
ketchim can have such an effect on you...make you conciliatory when there is only need to blast his rarse for his rabid opinion and commentary on this issue ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::
yes the appointment of lil Jase was unfair..to Bravo and to the fan interest of west indies cricket generally, and a whole lot of other negative things that made/makes a potful of disaster for the west indies...and for lil Jase as well as Davis started to dig into.
in fact since I have looked at that situation in hindsight, there is not a single positive aspect to the appointment of lil Jase..and indeed just before the wurl skup. it skuppered all the planning and development that had gone on in prep for those games, reducing..even eliminating.. any chance west indies had of quality, flowing performances.
and it was a choice precipitated by desire to punish 2 players. just that Mail... a brutally atrocious decision if one is executing a responsibility they are charged with of a national representative nature. that was not the focus of that decision at all..simply to bell 2 players who stood up for their rights. the national representation was not a factor. the administration did not care about the responsibility they are/were charged with

you do not understand Lloyd as yet Mail. in the factory road brew Lloyd a new-by has exposed himself to be even worse than skameron, a more destructive influence than the current chair..a wicb lifer who has made his living off that institution.
there is absolutely nothing positive about Lloyd..or to be expected from him as administrator. Lloyd is the pits, the worst most disappointing element around the west indies at the moment.
I gave Lloyd every benefit of doubt I could. we disliked Lloyd thoroughly back in the day in the Trinidad. we saw the ever whining, ever complaining skunt for what he was and let him know directly. then he became captain and achieved great success when his leadership coincided with an unprecedented flow of great players. so that necessitated a re-assessment and re-set on the part of Trinis
so we relented and even gave him a silver salver and a big party at some point in recognition of his achievement as captain. but subsequent negative experience with Lloyd kept intruding on that reset until this point, when Lloyd the man, as administrator can no longer be compromised with..the fact that we were right about Lloyd from the start..that he is an elitist minded, soup drinking suck skunt who looks after Lloyd period...has no concern for ordinary people, has no ethics he would not compromise for what he wants as demonstrated by his ready agreement with Skameron's victimization of Bravo and Pollard...and his open and public defense of that atrocious act since then.
that exposes Lloyd to be an awful fellow, terrible, who has nothing of a progressive nature to offer west indies cricket. so to speak in expectation of positive action and policy from LLoyd is questionable Mail. leave such commentary for ketchim whom this ''las' rounds here'' can find nothing negative he does not like and ready to apply to west indies cricket...and all else he deals with in these pages

Russel and Holder is the future of Windies XI.
Bravo and Pollard future is with the IPL.
Bravo is even a personal friend and wedding attendee of India XI players !
All should be happy !

Russell and Holder are 2 ordinary players with one or 2 advantages but the jury is still very much out on them. Russell is very fast and can hit the ball hard. but that has not translated into anything much. he does not score as much as Marshall and Holding used to score for example. and he is no where near to them as bowler
Holder has scored well but nothing to compensate for his lack of penetration as a bowler. his wicket production doh improved is still poor. there is little chance that his pace will quicken, nor that he will produce wickets in bunches.
Jason Holder is a glorified Darren Sammy though taller
my jury is not out on those 2 however as I am confident they will never amount to much..certainly not more than Brabits means to the west indies at the moment. they will never achieve Brabits level

Russell
50 ODI's for less than a thousand runs...at an average of 28
64 wickets at 1.28 wickets per game
what the hell kind of player is that to be describing as the west indies future...or the future of the west indies ::confused::
50 games are quite enuff to figure who the hell he is as a player and its not much. plus Russell is already 26 years old.

Dwayne Bravo head and shoulders over them all with Ravi next in line. I must admit that Holder is shaping-up comparatively decent in the mix. he is third.
but how is Polly out of his depth in this crowd ::confused:: ::confused::
and youthful, athletic, very fast bowling etc..how in the hell is Russel worthy of a pik before anybody in that group ::confused:: ::confused::
and why isnt Ravi in the side with the new ball before Jason...indeed everybody else ::confused::
Russell and Holder are not now better than Polly and Bravo. Holder could have made that side but not as captain. that is Brabits job. Holder would have made the side along with Russell but not at the expense of Brav
the wurl cup selection was very much weakened without Brabits

Well at this stage it doesn't matter who captains the West Indies because it will not affect the performance of the team. Being captain just means that your spot is secured regardless of how poorly you perform.
