Smith and his avocado looking belly needs to be dropped for the next game.
It's almost as though the selectors are deliberately taunting us by selecting him.

Simmons can open the batting and you can have Carter down the order if he strikes some good form there.Had it not been for his good T20 records,Dwayne would never have been selected in the first place.

Since his debut in 2004, Dwayne Smith has the lowest average (19.45) among all batsman (1 through 7) with at least 1000 runs scored in ODI cricket. Only three players in the history of ODI cricket that fall under this criteria have a lower average: Wasim Akram (17.64), Upul Chandana (18.08) and Alok Kapali (19.33).
ODI averages
Dwayne Smith has the second lowest average (23.88) for an opening batsman with a minimum of 30 Test matches. Only Javed Omar at 22.07 has a lower average. Under this same criteria, Smith also has the fewest number of 50+ scores in Test cricket with six.
Test match averages
Among all opening batsman to have played at least 25 T20 matches, Smith has the second lowest average (21.20), only William Poterfield (19.59) has a lower average.
