I think that follow on should always be enforced in all circumstances. I can't understand why teams like England are reluctant to do it.

Absolutely yes!! Bangladesh have shown that their batting has the ability (is likely) to fold under all circumstances. With rain around it is better not to take the risk of giving them the opportunity to escape with a draw.

Gotta put Bangladesh in again and try to bowl them out quickly.

For the next test, I'd shake up the batting order, letting Kurk and Blackwood open and give them a license to block slow. They need some experience.

Agreed on the follow on.

Totally disagree on shaking up the order. Firstly Kirk may not be up to tests but clearly leave him in for the next outing.

There is a confidence all batsmen and a team get from convincing victories which then favourably impact on confidence, form, team spirit and getting into that winning habit in preparation for sterner tests.

Chopping and changing the order is somewhat suicidal as you are batting players out of position and trying to change mindset which serve no real purpose, in my humble view. I would be surprised if Kirk does not step up in the next test.

Kirk is the only real failure in this test, for Windies, and, hopefully, he would have learnt from the application shown by Craig, Bravo and Shiv.

Many players are referring to Shiv's mentoring which is helping so hopefully some of this would rub off on the others, including Kirk. I have suggested Shiv is retained in some capacity, immediately following his retirement (whenever this is) perhaps as mentor to bridge that transition.

Blackwood was just trying to push it on, as per instructions, so I do not hold it against him and the same could be said for Ramdin as well.

For me this is not just about a potential victory but the manner in its execution. When you get the upperhand, you have to turn the screws and this will keep you in good stead for more rigorous examinations.

With a lead of over 300 Windies should now aim for a innings victory.Inflicting an innings defeat will bring down their morale and wiping them out becomes easier. Moreover, they never have had opposition on the mat like this before and thus should learn the art of "killer punch" an art mastered by top teams.
If windies have any plans to rise in rankings, they should do it.I know i have used POWERFUL words, but for once i am starting to LOVE the WINDIES team from the bottom of my heart.. :P ::love:: ::love::

Benn is the main bowler.  he is usually over-worked.  and when he was over-worked  last test against the Kiwi he was ineffective.

I batting again. sorry to say it but I dont quite trust the physicality of my bowling attack quite yet. I putting no presshah on dem
