Corey Anderson scored 68 off 40 to take New Zealand to 292 :
nd then took the wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane to further his credentials :
as a limited-overs allrounder.

In my stance,Had Virat Kohli and Dhoni carried till the end..the result would have been different.India had missed a solid opportunity in the innings and they failed to capitalize on that. There wasn't any Milne to steam in during the slog overs and the rest all were just toddlers. The batsman should have shown some steely resolve and proved that their merit of winning does not hinge on home conditions.Hoping for the best in the 2nd ODI.

This Indian team is tenacious and you cannot write them off.
However I like the Kiws' conviction.
Can Anderson hit a ball 122 meters.....
Ishant should really have a drastic hair cut as that must be causing some drag......

Kiwis should really elect to chase next time. Because batting first against India is not a good idea, 90% of the time. Although the other problem being Kiwis aren't good in chasing themselves. So that's a dilemma for them.
Anyway, India to bounce back next match, but would be interesting see if Kiwis can compensate and improve on their weak spots.
Bennett to come in for Milne. I rate Bennett - but not sure how good he'd be in ODIs.
