Chairman, why did you think it was a good idea to merge my thread with this?
I asked a question about who should be next English spinner, which is purely cricket related.
And you merged with a thread about Monty trying to "lure in" some girl - i.e. tabloid shit?
I are disappoint, man.

Sorry bro , I asked for the merge !
to point out that Monty recent behavior pattern is the cause of :
Borthwick being on the ECB radar .
Chairman can re merge :-[

Oh come on, that's not the case at all. ECB woulda sucked his d**k if he'd performed well. But it's mainly knee jerk and him not providing immediate results. Gambling and hoping they pull off a Stokes again.
Yeah it'd be better to unmerge if Chairman can do that

Kylester,
Do not really rate Kerrigan but time will tell how he evolves.
Sydney was meant to spin so they wanted another spinner either to partner or instead of Monty.
Borthwick has already played a couple of ODIs so was already on the radar.
He is a very good prospect as he is a more than handy bat, with 4 first class hundreds, but I think he needs time to develop and playa bit more ODIs.
Tredwell seems panic stations in my view.
Adil Rashid was in and around the squad since he was about 17 but has disappeared.
Last season he took 39 wickets at 47 and a batting average of 52 with 3 tons and 3 fifties. Borthwick played one more game taking 28 wickets at 38 and a batting average of 39 also with 3 tons and 3 fifties.
I am not sure why he is out of favour as he is still 25 and has taken some 325 FC wickets in 114 games.
