Although very promising, I totally agree and to drag him in now will potentially destroy him long term.
Long had we groomed Rasheed and he departed so quickly it was quite frightening. In fact he has had one of his most successful seasons, especially with the bat, and he could have been reintroduced, giving Borthwick another two year or so to work his way up.
He should be with the Lions now, in my view.
We seem to have a blank when it comes to spinners as you may recall we had Kerrigan in for the last Ashes series.

Stokes has been such a revelation for Poms this series. Better bowler than Bresnan and far superior batsman as well. Could fill in Flintoff's spot well - although he's not as destructive a bowler etc.
