"I absolutely don't understand the decision to bowl first here.
Seddon Park, especially since the block was re-laid a few years ago
(After the South African crater test debacle),.....doesn't really have much juice in it for the seamers.
Now, with the Windies only playing one specialist quick, they are going to get fourth innings:
use of a worn pitch with their spin arsenal."

The Wellington wicket had turn and bounce for spinner Sodhi on day 1---he was unfortunate not to get a wicket---a few catches were dropped off his bowling----anyway, the turn and bounce for the spinner is good news for Sunil Philip Narine and his spin partner Verasammy Permaul.
END DAY 1:

The easyrider thinks the Rev might have a point about the pitch.
However Permaul, may prove me wrong, should not be in the team. He does not turn the ball but seems a gutsy little cricketer.

Couldn't watch ..... Narine can bat ....
Guess he couldn't do anything with that one.
Let's see how he goes with the ball ....

"Boult to Narine, OUT, beauty, Boult hits top of off stump with a good length delivery that barely holds its line, just enough to beat Narine's defensive push."
Narine forgot where his offtump was----but that happens even to the best---we all saw Ashwin bowling Shiv recently.
