Why is Ramdin batting at number 6 for the West Indies? He is NOT a number 6 batsman in any test batting line up. This Indian team has a fantastic batting line up and still they play 6 top class batsmen. For some silly reason we think that 5 front line batsmen will be enough. The other point is, the Indians are very good players of spin, so it makes no sense for the extra bowler that we selected to be a spinner.

Ramdin at 6 is an attempt to balance the side with Sammy in it. Sammy is a useless skunt in the team..weakens it and deh have to compensate somehow.
Sammy weakens the bowling so they have to try to strengthen it with him there. most times it is the bowling that is weakened. this time they throw the weight on the batting..
but no matter what Sammy weakens...period. there is one answer and one only: Drop Sammy skunt.
this side deh pick here would be better and balanced if they played the 10 men and dropped sammy.
next time drop Sammy and pick 4 bowlers a keeper and 6 batsmen and see hos easy things could turn around

Mappappie,
I could not agree more.
Sammy has to go and Gibson follow promptly.
