is really doing well against the Proteas and the Ozzies.
Why is this. so ?
Neutral venue for one in the Desert sand.
Oz away from home ...
That really does NOT compute !
Ideas ??

Arguably the most vaunted Seam attack are these 2 visiting XIs.
But why are they unable to Win ....and convincingly ??

Ketch,
Pakistan has not really had much success against Oz and SA, really. The last series Pakistan won against Oz was 94-95 and since Oz have won the next 6 series with the last one being drawn. Against SA they last won in 2003-04, since then SA have won 3 with two, including the last series, drawn.
India have had more success against Oz and since 2004 they have both 3 series each with India winning 3 out of the last 4 series but at home and have never beaten Oz in Oz. I believe when India attained the number 1 ranking, they played a lot at home. The last time India beat SA 1-0 that was back in 2004 and guess what......yes at home. The last 3 series have been drawn.
So unless you are considering drawn series as success, Pakistan have not been successful against either and India's success has been in her fortress, mainly against Oz.
It would be interesting to see the upcoming series Australia v India.
I think SA has done better drawing series in India.

And this time the seamers scored a large proportion of the runs too.
Hard to believe that SA defended 183 on the same day that Australia failed to defend 350.

India and Pakistan - not even comparable. Pakistan have good resources, but Bangladesh could handle pressure much more maturely than them. Take the choke tag away from SA for godssakes. Give it to Pakistan.

Simple. India have the best batting line up in the world right now. Except one match the batting has come good in everything they've played. Plus, Aussie bowling is not as good as people make it out to be.
That and the poor pitches in India.
