haha badman Ishant
While lifting India from 76 for 4 to 303 for 9, MS Dhoni had spoiled James Faulkner's figures at the death. Faulkner took it out on Ishant Sharma at the death in Australia's chase. Rarely, if ever, has a bowler lost it so completely while bowling to a fellow bowler. Australia needed 44 off 18 when Ishant was given the ball. Six balls and 30 runs later off Faulkner's bat, the game was effectively over.

What the Faulkner!
Well played though, Jimmeh! I mean I turned it off after Haddos got out and figured that was it. But god, checked the score later and FML, he took apart Indian trundlers, esp. Ishant! Way to go.
Also why the hell do Indian keep playing Ishant? Praveen Kumar or Irfan Pathan are far better options, and both can hold the bat too.

Because Dhoni sees something in him for some reason. That was one of the worst overs I'v ever seen someone bowl. Kudos to Faulkner. Won the game for the Aussies pretty much on his own in the end.
Incidentally, Ishant is in the team for the next 4 ODIs as well.

I would've thought 50+ ODIs is a fair enough length to prove your consistency.
Although to be fair, I was about to recommend Praveen Koomar
, but apparently he averages 35+ while Ishant averages 31 off. So fair play to him, the bowling resources are that crap. Maybe they can draft Mohit Sharma in, seems a much better ODI bowler anyway.
