In my estimation, and from what I have seen, the West Indies Cricket Board has not been very active. They have not been doing much.
Do you believe the Board needs to be more active, or are they pulling they weight?

Lol. You are too controversial. The cricket board is indeed active. Actively trying to keep themselves in the position that they are in right now, where they seem to be locked away from the real issues. Lol.

- No effective governance equates to chaos and anarchy. Wilkins was requested to make governance recommendations which he duly produced and was promptly ignored. Wilkins resigned. This really is the biggest problem.
- I believe the selection of key officers are Afro biased to the exclusion of the real captains of industry and people who have established and sustained successful businesses.
- Fostering, championing and preserving prejudice, bias and insularity. Why would Sammy be selected captain at a time, and even now, could not get into the team? He still is captain.
- The previous regime insisted, unjustly, in over promoting the smaller islands in terms of players selection and the allocation of fixtures with some tours being played to empty stadia. Some 75% of fixtures being played to about 8% of the region's population.
- Far too many stadia in the smaller islands for common sense and per capita.
- Losing some 31 matters in the Law Courts reducing their already empty coffers by millions.
In summary all of the problems are down to a lack of effective, embedded and practiced governance.

If you run any organisation without rules then.....mayhem.

It is a Boys club where everyone covers up the incompetence of each other !
Julian Hunte buy a building and then turn around and RENT it to the WICB :
Renovate it and charge the WICB all the costs ??

This is why I love conversing you guys. I have been berated so many times as a female for talking about these issues. I believe that they are just a mammoth waste of time and resources. They are as about as inept as my dog trying to sing. If I come across too strongly, I am afraid I will not apologize.
I am grossly disappointed and upset.

These are the real issues, and not many persons realize or know this. The cricket board has been inactive (in my view) for years. They have done nothing substantial. What is their purpose? Smh.

Quite so. The problems are glaring and obviously pronounced. The vast majority looking on do not see and acknowledge this, because they are not keen to the issues at hand. The WICB has not been active in a long while, and is just wasting the resources there.

They won six test matches in a row to go along with a world cup win .
The A team is beating the Indian A team right now and to say that theWest Indies board is inactive is inaccurate and unfair to them
