I grew up in a Guyana where the only date a guy could have was a trip to the movies. Joy Mukerjee at the Liberty and Empire cinemas was the best magnets a fella could have offered his lady in those days. He helped me corral my wife, no less. Thanks old fella, and RIP.

I was a young child and my momma took me to the rajmahal cinema to see PHIR WOHI DIL LAYA HOON and Joy Mukerjee made an impression on me that will last forever . I saw all his movies
