US general apologizes for Quran burning
Afghan demonstrators used slingshots and fired guns in the air while U.S. helicopters responded with flares, after thousands of angry people gathered Tuesday to protest the alleged burning of copies of the Quran at the main U.S. military base in Afghanistan.

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Not sure what you quite mean here but one thing I would say is that Muslims are getting a bad rap at the moment.
I saw a documentary last night about a City some 30 miles from London called Luton which attracted a lot of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis to work at the, now closed, Vauxhall plant. The focus was extremism and I was quite surprised at what I saw.
My understanding of Islam are peace, equity, consideration, science, recognition and respect of others and all that is good in humanity.
Do we tar all Christians with the same brush because of Hitler and many other Christians had extreme views? I do not believe so.
Do we tar all Catholics for awful actions taken by the IRA and Sinn Fein? No we do not.
Muslims are defined by their Islam and that is the difference because it is a complete way of life and not a Sunday activity. Islam actually means peace, purity, submission and obedience.
Let us keep this in perspective and again Ketch I would like to understand your views.

It is one of the most crass disrespectful thing I have read in this forum and you need be ashamed of yourself.
I agree it is a book. People like you burn things without fire so it is not that significant that a material physical book is burnt as the message is still there whether it is the Qur'an or the Vedas.
Burning any book whether it is Janet and John or the Bhagwat Geeta is abhorrant because books should never be burnt as it contains knowledge and information someone will utilise.
You are welcome to your views but statements account for the man or woman you are.
When you have these views you should not be surprised that some call others Niggers, Coolies, Pakis, Honkies and all things derogatory.
Be careful.
