I am of the old school. I like to see, touch, and feel what I am buying. In addition, I do not like to give my credit card on on the internet.

never shopped on line (except for vacations....which i usually phone and do it with a live rep)
and i don't plan to do so anytime soon
my main reason is using my charge card
but i was told to have a credit card just for on line shopping and keep the lime to a minimum

While your points are well taken it must be understood that the crooks are after your identity, not the few bucks they can charge to your card. My daughter had her identity stolen and thousands of dollars charged to her card. We reported the matter to VISA and the police and had the matter resolved. However, it us more than five years to have the credit bureau clear her record even though we provided them with every documentation they asked for. Every time there was a need for a credit check on her the stuff showed up. It was a mess.
