Canada: Trudeau says he’ll support businesses sued for forcing vaccine passports
he Trudeau government announced last month that it was considering mandating vaccination passports for federal public servants and employees in federally regulated industries.
Now the government has announced that it is backing businesses that are worried about being sued for forcing vaccine passports.
The move in August was in an effort “to get as many Canadians vaccinated as possible” – the requirement for COVID-19 vaccines has now extended to many organizations such as airlines and the government, creating a civil liberties controversy.
While campaigning in Welland for the upcoming federal election, Trudeau said:
“We’ve simply said that we will be there, to have those businesses’ back as they do the right thing. There are a number of different ways that the Justice Department is looking at ensuring that they do not have to fear being sued for demanding that people be vaccinated,” the Canadian Prime Minister said.
“But we will make sure that we’re helping them know that they’re doing the right thing and know that we’ll have their backs as they do it, following up,” Trudeau continued.
A business will be able to demand proof of protection against COVID-19 without worrying about facing a “legal challenge,” according to the Liberal Party of Canada’s election program.
According to the Liberal Party, vaccine passports will be required for domestic air, train, and boat travel in October in line with Trudeau’s earlier announcement.

Over 100 Youths in Ontario End Up in Hospital After COVID Vax
A slew of younger persons in Canada are experiencing heart problems following their mRNA vaccinations, with 106 reports of myocarditis / pericarditis under the age of 25 so far, according to the Toronto Sun. In total, 202 persons showed up in emergency rooms with heart complaints after vaccination; 146 were hospitalized, with three of those ending up in an ICU.
The report was “quietly” released by Public Health Ontario, the Sun said, and covers administration of the mRNA vaccines from December 13, 2020, to August 7, 2021. It also advises public health practitioners to be on the lookout for cardiac side effects.

Justin Trudeau’s election gamble is backfiring
2 September 2021, 3:34am
Having called a snap election, Trudeau is now flailing in the polls. While 20 September is still weeks away, it looks bad for his Liberal party. In effect, Trudeau has pulled a Theresa May. It’s difficult to know why politicians make the bad decisions they do. The safe bet is always on hubris but inevitably there’s more to it than that.
As with Theresa May in 2017, Trudeau was basically okay with his lot – but he wanted something better and saw a way through. Every PM wants a big fat majority but in Trudeau’s case he didn’t actually need it to survive. Canada has a long history of functional minority governments. There’s no imminent Brexit-type-political-disaster-scenario on the cards. Our parliamentary system is modelled on the British one, right down to our little folding green seats in the Commons. It’s the same but calmer, less fractious. Twice the size with roughly half the people.

People’s Party of Canada is the only federal election candidate that opposes vaccine passports
With the Canadian federal election less than two weeks away, only one of the top six parties has definitively opposed COVID vaccine passports and vowed to repeal them if elected; Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada.
The other parties – Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party of Canada, Erin O’Toole’s Conservative Party, Jagmeet Singh’s New Democrat Party, Yves-François Blanchet’s Bloc Québécois, Annamie Paul’s Green Party of Canada – have either expressed support for vaccine passports or not made a definitive statement on the issue.
The People’s Party’s COVID policy takes a strong stance against vaccine passports and includes a plan that details how the party intends to repeal and oppose vaccine passports and mandates if elected.
“Governments don’t want to admit that they were wrong and are imposing increasingly authoritarian measures on the population, including vaccine passports,” the People’s Party states in its COVID policy. “Both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated will suffer under a regime of segregation, constant control, and surveillance. It is illusory to believe that the virus can be eradicated. We have to learn to live with it, without destroying our way of life in the process.”
The People’s Party also notes that “both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated can get infected and transmit the virus, which negates the rationale for segregation and vaccine passports.”

The Conservatives target the swing voters sick of Trudeau — but wary of change
When Erin O'Toole released the Conservative Party's list of election promises last month, at least one experienced political strategist was stumped.
"I saw nothing that would help them win the election," David Herle, the well-known Liberal adviser, told Politico. "No big tax cut. No serious affordability initiative."
O'Toole's people would no doubt quibble with such a broad dismissal. The 83-page document is full of bullet points, and nearly every section is presented as a "detailed plan" to address one concern or another.

Billy, for an "anti capitalist", "class warrior", you sure do love conservatives and the alt-right.
Did Trump really win the 2020 election, Billy?
Will voting for Erin O'Toole protect us from the Jews and their weather controlling machines?

‘Flame purification’? I fear the burning of books in Canada is the first step towards something sinister and evil
Books featuring so-called ‘outdated content’ are being burned as a goodwill gesture to Indigenous people in Ontario. This fills me with dread, as history has shown us that the torching of ideas usually has disastrous consequences.
First, a confession. I get really emotional and upset when I encounter ritual book-burning. So when I read that in Canada, more than 4,700 books have been removed from the library shelves of schools and burned, I cannot help but feel depressed.
The book burning ceremony organised by an Ontario francophone school board was promoted as a “gesture of reconciliation” to Indigenous peoples. This barbaric act against enlightened cultural norms was labelled as a “flame purification ceremony.”
