Air Canada Destination Guyana

Air Canada could be servicing the Guyana route in the near future, if discussions between the local private sector and Canadian officials are successful. Chairman of Private Sector Commission, Ramesh Dookhoo told online news site, Business Guyana that air travel between Canada and Guyana is rapidly increasing. He said the commission will be pursuing initiatives that could see the Canadian airline operating out of this country.
Dookoo added that from all indications, arrivals at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport have been increasing, attracting more international carriers. He believes this initiative would serve to boost tourism and business travel to Guyana.

They need to get the Pricing correct !

Many an Airline undertook the task in the past :

Only to end up Bankrupt ....including Guyana Airways ...

i don't care who is the carrier.....but canadians need a direct flight to guyana!!
