The Guyana Government is failing miserably in acknowledging the increasing professionalism in serious crimes directed mostly against Guyanese Indians. The minister in charge has no teeth, and very little attention, resources and 'correct' personnel are directed to combat this problem. This single fact is the greteast deterrance for ex-patriots to return to their beloved country. Guyana would be a much more prosperous country if this problem is eradicated. Maybe, the Guyana Govt will wake up one of these days when the motorcycle bandits hold up the US Ambassador while outing in Georgetown.
