The amount of money wasted & stolen by the APNU/AFC gov't could have turned the sugar industry around!

It hurts to the core to see the amount of money wasted & stolen by the APNU/AFC gov't while tens of thousands were in dire need.

PPP/C please provide evidence of the damaged vehicles handed over by APNU/AFC to refute Harmon's accusation of lying.

Even if justified, the alacrity with which the police used rubber bullets and tear gas on the ECD squatters was not displayed when they were dealing with WCB protestors, who, although much more violent towards the police, were treated with kids' gloves. As well one wonders why rubber bullets and tear gas were not used against those who were protesting electoral skullduggery? They were not as violent as the WCB protestors and had the police been applying the same standards across the board the life of that young man would not have been snuffed out. Police reform and the balancing of the police force and the army must be dealt with by Irfan Ali's government. Both are long overdue.

Adamant that their coalition partner APNU reneged on agreements in their revamped Cummingsburg Accord agreement, the Alliance for Change (AFC) yesterday set up a committee to determine its next move.
“The NEC (National Executive Council) was of the strong view, that a fundamental breach of the Accord was committed, as such a committee has been established to provide guidance and recommendations to the party on the continued effectiveness of the Accord as well as a review of the mechanisms to effect any future agreements,” the AFC said in a statement, following a meeting of its National Executive Council yesterday.
“The committee will be submitting its report within 10 days, thereafter another NEC meeting will be held on October 18, 2020. The NEC, with the agreement of the General Secretary has deferred a decision on the resignations to this later date,” it added.
