the Raps ram out of steam..like a horse in the stretch that cant make the distance of the race..the horse starts to run backwards very fast.. as the other horses pass them, creating the illusion of running backwards

but Gasol did not play. and there are no trades to be made that cud do the trick for the Raps. the Raps are fine for the next year or 2...at least one more championship but they got to do it with what they have.

the kids will have to mature and improve..and at least 2 will have to become stars...a point guard and a center as Lowery gets on and Gasol retires

I am sick of the NBA this year..all the injuries..and the tremendous focus on saving players...

like Kerr the Warriors coach trying to keep Curry from playing this year. why in the hell not?

if Curry plays the Warriors will win more games and he fans will get to see their star player on the court. that is what they pay their good money to go see the games for..whether the team can win a championship or not

that is what teams are doing now..hiding away the stars putting a whole lot of second raters on the court for the paying customer

then they have a player like Joel Embiid in Philly..a huge player who if the wind blows hard on him he gets hurt and sits out.

that guy is a good player but he is a pain in the arse on a team..a big huge always unhappy skunt on the floor. I mean if something bothers guys sure unhappy.

but them guys are getting millions of dollars every god dam year..lots of millions. what in the hell cant deh compromise with to keep thing rolling

then that Australian guy alongside Embiid in Philly Simmons

and there are the injuries..Klay Thompson, Curry, Irving - another sourpuss, Durant..Gasol and that next one in Toronto..Powell..aldoh I swear the Raptors are saving up Powell. I am confident Gasol is ready to go but that Raptors will not play him save closer to the playoffs

I am watching the Philly bench..without Simmonds and Embiid play real sweet basketball, there is a Philly kid sinking 3-pointers by the dozen

and the Cavs have a little zip by the name of Sexton doing the same thing. the game has tightened right up from a big Cavs lead.

I mean Philly even has Al Horford sitting. I love that. let the kids play. they are doing a great job. I wud stuff both Simmonds and Embiid on the bench when they return, who the hell need those 2 guys..especially Embiid

The problems with the Philly 76-Sixers is that they have assembled an ill-fitting group of players, coaches and management that cant get comfortable together.

the Philly team gets nowhere period. they will be beaten up every year as long as they keep that team together.

Philly should start with their GM. That GM is bound to be a contrary man at odds with himself... which is how he put together that team that is allergic to itself, that does not fit together at all.

best example is their two best players: Simmonds and Embiid who excel when the other is not playing for whatever reason..usually unfitness. both Simmonds and Embiid get injured often...and that is because they are not happy playing together...they do not fit each other..are allergic to each other so cant play well together.

so at least one should go and that ought to be Embiid.. who also does not fit Philadelphia..so trade him away for draft piks. don't worry about how well he will do elsewhere. he is a very talented player but he will not do well in Philly.

some of the young Bench players are very good, full of potential so keep them. Tobias Harris should also be tossed..let him go elsewhere. he clearly isn't happy in Philly.

and the coach Bret Brown! oh man! where did they get him? he does not appear to be a monster but he clearly does not fit. fiyah him!

but when the fiyahring begins start with that god dam GM. Phlly must not let him touch the new movement. he will just make it sick. toss him now and don't let him touch anything on his way out.

and when he is gorne fumigate the building!

the Philly GM is Elton Brand a former player himself..a good one too. I took the team on the court as representative of the man who put it together but I did not know it was Brand who is the allergic one

I don't know if they will fiyah Brand but that team isnt working at all. Brand has to fix that team immediately if its going to work. he has to forget this year..Philly isn't winning a dam thing this year..this year is toast already... and start fixing that team now

he must fire the coach now..Brett Brown who isn't good enough. then trade away Joel Embiid..and Tobias Harris..Al Horford too. Philly shud get good value for those guys. Maybe Masai will go for one them..Maybe Embiid if he can afford it.

Brand shud keep Ben Simmons who isnt doing badly in Philly..and focus on his bench.. and on piking wisely in the draft to help his team to compete for the championship in a year to 2

All the African players like Embiid : should beg to be a Raptor !

well right! I cud see Masai going aftah Embiid. he would be the perfect long term fit for the team at center.

if Gasol stays around for a next 2-3 years he would be perfect coming off he bench to spell Embiid with all his experience. he cud also mentor Embiid as well in the way to handle being in the NBA

Raptors organisation should invest heavily in Africa Basketball

I would propose 'Twinning' the hot Cities with T.O.

with a goal of creating a Basketball Dynasty ~

Africa is focused on developing their own africa-wide professional league. I don't know where ultimately the NBA fits into that

all things being equal and Africa basketball/Africa develops as they shud I don't see the need for African players in the NBA at all

African basketball organizational development contains a real threat to the NBA. but I shud keep quiet before they make a virus to pre empt African basketball
