Whole discussion is rather moot if someone is not lying next  to you cause I don't like to sleep alone

I am starting to keep spare car key in bedside table drawer.....why?

because I recently read a FB post which advises to keep car key next to bed and if you are ever invaded by a burgler......just press the alarm button on key.....which will then scare the thief into running away.....and also wake up the neighbours if you need assistance!!!!!
