Scientists have said it might be that the mother develops some kind of
resistance to the male Y chromosome in her offspring that makes
subsequent baby boys more likely to be born gay.

i have seen boys display homosexual tendencies (i.e. being effeminate) from very early ages, and then grow up to be gay. so no, i dont agree that the behaviour is learnt, at least, not in every one of them ....
