Zimbabwe live to fight another day after an unbroken partnership of 94 between Sikandar Raza and Peter Moor gave them a slender lead against Windies on the fourth day of the second Test.
Raza (58no) and Moor (39no) came together with Zimbabwe reeling on 46-4 in their second innings in Bulawayo, still needing 76 runs to make Windies bat again.
But by the close they had carried the home side to 140-4 to claim an 18-run advantage, with Raza adding his second half-century in a match where he has also claimed a five-wicket haul.
Zimbabwe conceded a 212-run partnership for the eighth wicket to centurions Shane Dowrich (103) and Jason Holder (110) as they spent 178.2 overs in the field - Dowrich's ton his first in Tests.
The hosts' punch-drunk top order were easily knocked over but Raza and Moor ensured the two-match series, which Windies lead 1-0, will go into a final day at Queens Sports Club.
