Known for his fiery spells with the ball, Edwards will return to the Ageas Bowl for his fourth year with Hampshire in 2018.
The right-arm fast-bowler impressed in his opening campaign for the Club back in 2015, claiming 45 first-class wickets in eight matches at an average of just 20.80, including a stunning 10-wicket haul against Nottinghamshire in the last fixture of the season to help Hampshire complete the ‘Great Escape’.
Despite suffering a season-ending injury early on in the 2016 campaign, as well minor injuries to begin 2017, Edwards came into his own in the season’s latter stages as the paceman once again demonstrated his value to the side, taking an excellent 33 wickets at an average of just 24.06 in the 2017 County Championship.
